About the Owner/Trainer/Groomer:

Troy is the owner of Puppy Kuts Dog Grooming which first started in Illionis under the name Paragon Dog Training in 1993 . Troy is a graduate of Pro- Canine School for Dog Trainers ( Sept 27, 1997 ) where he studied extensively under one of the world's leading canine trainers. At Pro-Canine School for Dog Trainers he  completed a 12 months ( 1920 hours )  of extensive, hands-on training program in the areas of  Basic and Advance Obedience, Behavior Modification, Personal and Home Protection, Basic Police K9 and Kennel Management ( click here for certifications ) earning him a certificate of completition and certification.

While living in Illinois Troy has studied in the sport of Schutzhund, ( Tracking, Obedience, Protection )  and Personal/Home Protection with his dogs, has performed as the local club decoy ( agitator ) for protection dog training. Upon moving to Texas Troy founded the Southeast Texas Working Dog Club in 2005 where members meet to train in all three phases such as obedience, tracking and protection. We train for Schutzhund, PSA, and many other K9 working dog sports.

Troy's personal experiences alone give him tremendous insight into dog training, however, his formal education qualifies him as one of East Texas most accomplished and well-credentialed trainers available to the public. Troy is also an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator # 38753. Troy continues his training by attending seminars and workshops given by APDT and other well known trainers.

Troy's grooming experience started when he was just 15  while working in a grooming shop as the bather. After changing careers to dog training and going back to grooming in 2009 under an apprenticeship with Professional Groomer Evonne with Bubbles and Bows.
